Dear rollers,
I write to you all with love for nature, mountain ranges & wildlife.
“It somehow becomes irresistible to weather yourself in mountains again…
Once obscure, Kasarsai Dam got quite famous post lockdown, skip it and roll ahead towards Chandkhed
A splendid treat to your soul awaits, downhill submersed in lush green woods with Makhmali flowers afterwards.
See the video, you’ll find amazing butterflies and flora, relive it below.
Soak yourself for a while in nature too, as you’ll not find them after.
There’s life out there, don’t miss the nature at its best.
The complete circuit for adventurers, roads were good enough for cycling and biking.
Rare attractions can be on this route can be found in https://www.instagram.com/Indian.Roller/
Bebadahol, the T point from NH-48 and Kasarsai, you’ll find eateries but if somehow stumbled upon ‘Ghare Snacks’ do try them..
what’s your favorite breakfast? Tell us in comments.
Couldn’t stop myself from taking a bit before the still :-P
Read below, if going further than Pawna Dam -
And let me paint that bleak picture of my solo ride..
The moment of self-realization starts from here, the climbs till Lohgad Fort will test your senses. If riding in bright sun, keep at least 2 liters of water and glucose, be prepared for amazing trails through the woods
Riding with scorching sun and climb of 13km from Pawna base to Lohgad fort will wither you but it rewarding too… ‘perfect trail’.
You’ll find success when you’ll get a glimpse of Visapur Fort from far, Goosebumps!! Stop for a while.
Look around how much far and above you’ve come….. cherish it
Reap the fruits of hardship you’ve endured. The awe-inspiring forts are magnificent. It will inspire you to crank the pedal further..
Straight ~5.5 km downhill to Malavli, via Bhaja Buddhist Caves and many famous waterfalls.
You’ll need lot of braking skills, make sure you’ve effective braking prior to the start of journey.
You can have fun at Malavli, won’t harm you with beverages or whatever you generally prefer it with :-p. Do reward yourself!!
I’ve skipped pictures of Dudhiware Khind and Forts, for you to experience and explore.
Live the route, imprint them in your memories forever..
Good Luck!!
Thanks,
Indian Roller
